As part of the NFFA-DI project activities, CNR-IFN organizes the Workshop Advanced ultrafast spectroscopy for the study of solid-state materials.

The workshop will be held on October 24, 2024 from 09:30 to 16:30 at the Aula Castiglioni of the Politecnico di Milano, piazza Leonardo da Vinci 32.

The event aims to bring together experts in advanced ultrafast spectroscopy techniques for solid materials, using laser sources from the THzto the XUV and X-ray frequency range. With a focus on XUV transient absorption spectroscopy, THz spectroscopy and High-order Harmonic Generation Spectroscopy, the workshop will provide an opportunity to discuss the latest challenges, emerging perspectives and future developments in this field.
