Workshop: PERSEUS

As part of the NFFA-DI project activities, CNR-ISM organizes the Workshop PERSEUS – PERSpectivEs in Ultrafast Spectroscopy and materials processing in the IR-UV wavelength range.
The workshop will be held on May 6, 2024 (9:30 – 13:30) in Rome, at the Aula Marconi of the CNR, P.le Aldo Moro 7. It will present recent developments in the field of ultrafast spectroscopy and materials processing with ultrafast sources.
Presentations on ultrafast spectroscopy will include time-resolved absorption and photoemission spectroscopy in the Terahertz, Vis-UV, VUV, X-ray wavelength ranges and theoretical methods to interpret the experiments. The workshop will also focus on experimental facilities: tabletop sources, high harmonic generation (HHG) and free electron lasers (FEL). Applications will cover photovoltaic materials, quantum materials, and wide-gap semiconductors.
