CNR-IOM, within the NFFA-DI project, organizes the workshop Electronic and magnetic characterization of nanomaterials and their heterostructures with electron and photon based spectroscopies that will be held on January 20 and 21, 2025 in Venice, at Ca' Foscari University.
This event will focus on the use of photons and electrons for the advanced analysis of the magnetic and structural properties of nano-structured materials, with a particular focus on synchrotron techniques.
The event is mainly addressed to young researchers and students, in particular those involved in the NFFA-DI project and we hope it will be an opportunity to share scientific experiences by fostering collaboration among participants.
To foster interaction between participants and speakers, we have organized a "fast talks" session where participants will have the opportunity to briefly present their scientific interests. This will be followed by an informal aperitif offered by the organization, which will offer further opportunities for exchange and networking.

Registration is mandatory and must be completed by November 30, 2024 via the following link: https://datashare.nffa-di.it/apps/forms/embed/cyLQ7JtMiPnKWmFMGwAW5TRe
Participation in the workshop is free of charge, but travel and accommodation costs will be borne by the participants.
In the event that the capacity of the room is exceeded, the possibility of connecting online will be evaluated.
Given the particularity of Venice, we recommend booking your overnight stay well in advance. Check the list of suggested hotels.
We are confident that the workshop will represent a unique opportunity to delve into advanced topics and stimulate new scientific and professional contacts.
