The NFFA2050 project for a transformative hybrid research infrastructure on physics of matter and advanced materials, built on the 11-year track-record of NFFA-Europe services to over 3000 transnational users, has been included in the ESFRI Roadmap 2026 as new strategic RI project.

The ESFRI RI project will continuously exchange results and technologies with the PNRR funded NFFA-DI national distributed RI that has already established innovative services for the Italian research competitiveness. Both NFFA undertakings will concur to implementing a broad vision of an integrated research and innovation RI ecosystem across Europe.
